    Lethargic not eating/drinking Easter egger

After the first 2 days of treating her for an eye infection she was much better. Put her back in the run with the others after a week.

    Lethargic not eating/drinking Easter egger

I ordered a similar item on Amazon and started treating her with neosporin. How many days should I do this for?

    Lethargic not eating/drinking Easter egger

It’s not a lash egg. It’s part of a cauliflower my girls gave to the chickens.

    Lethargic not eating/drinking Easter egger

I have a 4.5 year old Easter egger hen that is acting very lethargic. Normally she’s the first to grab up any treats that get thrown into the run but today she was just standing there. Her tail was a bit droopy. She hasn’t laid any eggs in awhile but I figured that was because it’s getting...

    Plastic playhouse

That’s what I was just going to ask! I just bought a used Step2 plastic playhouse that I want to convert. What kind of screws should I use? Or is it better to use bolts that go all the way through?

    California - Northern

Hi all! I live in Santa Clara and just found out my silkie is a roo! So I need to rehome him. He’s 6 months old and about 1 pound. He’s very friendly - my girls play with him all the time. He is also friendly with my dog (meaning he ignores him instead of running away). My girls are very upset...

Silkie rooster - SF Bay Area

Turns out my silkie is a rooster! Unfortunately I can’t have him where I live. He’s about 6 months old and about a pound. My girls adore him and he’s very friendly. He’s also ok with our dog coming up to give him a sniff. I’m willing to deliver him and can even meet in the Folsom/Placerville...

    Boy or girl silkie?

He’s very sweet, but now I have to find him a new home. No roosters allowed in my area! :(

    Boy or girl silkie?

I got her (him?) at 2 months and they told me she was a pullet. But a couple days ago I heard her crow. Is that a sure sign that I’ve got a rooster? I’ve attached pictures of her.

    New chicken owner

Hi I’m Melissa! I have 3 kids, a dog, and 4 chickens. We just started with chickens since the pandemic started. It’s been a great hobby! I’m excited to have found a community where I can get information and help since I’m a newbie to this whole raising chickens thing!
