    Could I make this my coop?

    I bought that hutch for my bunny...it doesn't stand up to weather at all, it is poorly/cheaply made... we just trashed it and only had it about a year.

    When to help...

    So I am going on 24+ hours since pips, I have 10 out of 21 hatched. I can see 2 chicks that have been pipped for over 24 hours and have small holes (about the size of a pea). I can tell one is drying out. Humidity is about 82%. When do I try and help?? Thanks!!

    I second the tubing with the syringe. I even used a regular straw the last time (used what I had). Good luck.

    I just received the eggs I purchased (wheaten marans and welsummer) from Sharon and they a bu--te--ful!!! Excellent packing with extras included. Not one egg was harmed in shipping. I cannot wait to hatch these beauties. Thanks Sharon!!!

    I would love to hatch along with you. I just received 22 eggs today and will set them tonight before bed. I have 7 wheaten marans and 15 welsummer. This is my second hatch and will be my first hatch with shipped eggs. Happy hatching

    Hey Boo-Boo's mama....I am a neighbor....litterally....I am in Miles. I am new to this whole chicken life too, but boy o' boy is it fun. My DH was a bit aprehensive at first, but is now just as hooked as I am.
