    wife says, "I got a surprise for you". takes me to the incubator and there's chicks riding the turners. Saturday I took the wrong batch of eggs off the turner and placed them in lock down. Tell me I'm not the only one to loose track of which rack is due when. Brian

    I just put another 40 in lock down. I spritzed the eggs with warm water. The eggs are fertile, as they were developed but didn't hatch. The humidity is 60% and I'm hoping for no power failures this time. I'll keep you posted. Brian

    Do you grind or mill whole corn for feed?

    I buy whole corn in bulk as I finish out my pigs on it. I use an old bur mill with a hand crank to grind my corn into scratch for my chickens. I set it back to where it just cracks and flakes the corn. I will try to get a picture posted in the AM
