Got my 1st egg (brown egg) today from one of my red stars! She's exactly 17 weeks today. The other two off white eggs are from my polish and polish/silkie mix.

I heard one of mine crowing this morning...not quite sure who but I have two suspects in mind. I have to avoid all the feed stores right now because I'm afraid chicken math will kick in and I just know I'll somehow convince myself I need 2 or 5 or 10 more. LOL.

I got my chicks two weeks ago, I started them in my spare bedroom in a 50 gallon storage bin as a brooder and I just moved them into my garage the other day, they will stay there for the next 6 weeks when they are feathered and ready to move outside. I am in the process of building our outside...

My babies graduated from storage bin in the spare bedroom to the hutch in the garage. I have a big xpen That I'll connect to the hutch later this week and this is where they'll stay until they move outside. Growing up so fast!!!
