    I have 3 boys, never had a female and 2 of them have bald spots on their necks. I feel so bad for them. They try to mate with each other.

    Well, we did that much the last day as a last resort. The first day of the star gazer we used nutri drench. And a lot less!!!

    Vitamin E. We took 3 capsules of 400 IU vitamin E and put it in the chick starter with water to make lile a mash mixture. She ate about 75% of within 24 hours but declined tremendously

    We tried that too. Just let the dropper fall on her beak until she kind of looked like she got a little. Did that 3 x a day for 1 day then we switched to vitamin e. Mixed it with wet food. Use 3 capsules, 400 iu in her food she ate over a 24 hour period. She actually ate about 75% of the food

    Maybe she just needed some extra time and strength. You can always add a few vitamins to the water too just to be safe. They have something called nutri drench. It has a lot of vitamins for chickens.

    The yellow one looks like it may be a pure white silkie but the darker ones are mixes! Silkie and another breed. Unless they have black skin and 5 toea, they are not silkies.

    Yes! Pry away! Get tweezers and qtips and warm water ready and a paper towel. Wet the qtip and use it to wet the membrane of the egg.
