    Umm.. Has anyone else had wild mallards join their flock?

    I love this story! We have a wild mallard that’s been hanging around our flock and I was wondering about other peoples experiences with this. Thanks for sharing!

    So, a woman who worked at a local feed store said it would be ok for about a month, after that it might spoil.

    I Recently stumbled upon someone who puts a little diamataceous earth In her feed. It deworms the flock. It also kills roaches. Just a thought.

    This is a little embarrassing to post, but I’m a newbie so here goes. I got a big bag of sunflower seeds to feed my flock and it’s full of mealworms. Do I take it back and complain? Or, just figure it’s extra protein and no big deal?

    I should have known when the New York Times is writing articles saying there is a run on baby chicks the fencing was going to be gone come time to finish my duck paddock. I can’t seem to get any until mid June, at least not the smaller weave. I’m not sure what to do exactly. I can let them out...
