    Would they fit in a large or medium size dog carrier? Once they go in you can cover them with an old blanket or quilt.

    I would be afraid the sticky on the bottom and the duct tape on the top left on for that long would not come off properly, possibly taking skin with it. I would think the plastic would slip and slide causing her to fall or be unstable every time she took a step. This is a very pretty chicken...

    You can mix up a salt water solution to clean it out really well, fill it up with neopsorin just as you are doing and spread it around the top( which I'm sure your already doing) Salt water will help draw out any infection. Some excellent stuff you can only get at the vet is called Derma-Gel...
