We are getting a shipment today of 100 meat chicks. Temps at night are 55-75 here in FL. I have chicken tractors with heat lamps in them. could I put them out right away or do need to wait a couple weeks? I usually start them in barn, but wondered if anyone has put them out on grass right away...
We would like to sell our process chickens to friends. Shrink bags are expensive! what do you buy to package your chickens for other people/market in?

I heard they were difficult to raise as new poults but then got hardier. We lost 2 out of 3 in the first batch at...
I started out with 6 muscovy ducklings - turned out 3 girls, 3 boys,.... couple months ago the males started fighting a bit and we decided to process 2 of them. Whatever made me decide to keep the male with the most "personality" is now beyond me. A week or 2 after the other males were gone ...
any thoughts?
