    Took me a while to go through this topic. And maybe I missed a couple things said, but don't give your chickens spent hops. And if for some reason you are adding hops to your mash, don't feed them that grain. Rarely do any recipes call for hops before the mash, so usually no worries...

    It does look like intestines protruding, will try to get a picture, but they are all sleeping now, that one is not hard to miss when they are out and running around though. Been like that for a few days now.

    Is letting your Chick nap on you ok?

    He looks so small for 2 weeks old. As long as you are not under 5 years old, very elderly, or have a weakened immune system, it'll be fine. Just don't touch your face when handling and wash your hands after you put him back.

    I keep having to pull the aggressive chick aside and play with him. He likes it when I type and starts trying to peck the keys. So, not sure what to type, just cute watching him trying to help. Hopefully he will learn to get along with the others instead of just trying to peck at them...

    Here are the 3 black ones, they like to hang together and the tan/gold ones are now hanging on the other side near the water trough. Out of 24 eggs we got 5 tan/gold ones and 3 black ones.
