Saw your post on the MI forum. I'd take the ducks, and the girls would have no risk of being eaten, but I am north of Grand Rapids, and not planning to go to the Lansing area any time in the future.
A lady is getting some duck hatching eggs from me this week... she is just starting her flock. I may mention your ducks and see if she has any interest?
