Update, he was up getting around yesterday afternoon, this morning found him like he had a stroke or something, he passed a couple hours later. We had lots of good years together, nothing more fun to watch than Muscovy's and their antics. He was around 15 years old!- wet duck

Wet feather
I used dawn only once, I bring him in and blow dry the feathers only, I haven't done anything else but add probiotics and massaging the oil duck gland and petting him he like that!! He seems to be eating better now and is keeping dryer at least on his back. He is being kept in a warmed coop... -

I have bathed him in warm water, he actually enjoyed himself, he did finally get accustomed to the hair dryer and enjoyed that also, but when I check him he seems to be damp again that is why I questioned if there was something I could do, I have read two different articles now and I plan on... -

Is there anything I can use topically to temporarily replace the feather oil while I wait for the duck to preen itself back to normal? I have done the bath and blow dry, but the feathers still keep getting damp, he is in a heated coop, not with a heat light. It's been 5 degrees in the mornings...
