    Buff Orp. ??

    I hatch a few buff orp and gold laced wyandotte crosses every now and then and that is what yours look like. Def. not pure buff. But will be very pretty chickens.

    Thanks everybody. The only problem I am having with a splint is that the leg seems broken up at the hip (or what ever you call it). So how do I splint that? I feel so helpless!!

    When I got these eggs for hatching they were supposed to be dark brahmas. Well, duhhh I know better than that. So, what are they? Barred cochins? They are standard sized with single combs and feathered legs. Same kind as the first. These I am thinking maybe gold or silver laced cochin...

    I found some pics of barred cochins on the internet and I am pretty sure that that's what chicks 1 & 2 are. Any one agree?
