    One of my hens keeps on getting poopy butt. It's happened twice and I just noticed it again today. To fix it, I fill up a small bucket with warm water, put on plastic gloves and wash her behind, it works well. Then if anything is stuck, I use scissors to cut some of it off, but not too much.

    Thanks for the quick reply. I'm not sure why she got poop bottom. I have 6 total chickens and she was only one with the issue.

    What is the best way to clean chicken bottom/rear end. One of my chickens has a messy, poopy rear end I just filled up a bucket of warm water and put on some plastic gloves and did my best by rinsing her down there. Then gave her a towel dry. It looks a little better but I'm new to all this.

    Best material for chicken run

    Good morning 🌞 friends! What is the best material for putting down on to the ground for inside the chicken run? Is a mixture of hay and white pine shavings ok? For inside the coop I was told that Koop Clean was the best.

    Infrared heating lamp vs white light heating lamp

    greetings! is it better to use a infrared heating lamp or white light heating lamp? i noticed that when i changed over to the infrared the chicks started scratching and making a nest so to speak,. they all seem to huddle in the nest now.
