One of my hens keeps on getting poopy butt.
It's happened twice and I just noticed it again today.
To fix it, I fill up a small bucket with warm water, put on plastic gloves and wash her behind, it works well. Then if anything is stuck, I use scissors to cut some of it off, but not too much.

Why does just this one keep getting it?

If she is the only one and they are all eating the same things, she could have coccidiosis. I have a similar issue with one of my older pullets (8 months). She does not seem ill otherwise and none of my other chickens have it. I decided to go ahead and treat the whole flock with Corid for coccidiosis and it is clearing up.😊
