These cute pullets were in a bin at Atwoods with lots of chicks. Atwoods guy said maybe Red Production, but they don't look like the pics I have seen. They have an orangey brown tip on their beaks, darker heads and stripes on their backs. Any ideas? [/IMG]
These girls/ guys are 13 weeks old. I'm concerned they are Roos. They have started fluffing their head and neck feathers and chest butting each other as well as jumping on my other hens. Their feathers are glossier. :-( there are also some suspicious crowing sounds. can someone help me confirm?

We have had a case of West Nile virus reported in our neighborhood (an infected human). Is this something I need to worry about with my girls? If they get it, will it kill them? Do I need to worry about us getting it from them or passing to them?
