These girls/ guys are 13 weeks old. I'm concerned they are Roos. They have started fluffing their head and neck feathers and chest butting each other as well as jumping on my other hens. Their feathers are glossier. :-( there are also some suspicious crowing sounds. can someone help me confirm?

I think you've got two very pretty "EE" cockerels. I see a lot of red in the wings, but to know for sure look at the comb. If there are 3 parralell rows of bumps (peas) they are cockerels, if there is only one row they are pullets. Feel free to post a close up of the comb.

Easter Eggers are Ameraucanas that don't fit the SOP for their breed. Also, in their first year girls are pullets and boys are cockerels. Not hens and roosters.

Bummer. I think they both have 3 rows. Are these decent meat chickens? I can't have males.

Yup 3 rows of peas.

Not as much meat as a plymouth rock or a cornish cross, but you can eat them. I suggest chicken and dumplings or anything else that you would cook the chicken in broth.

Enjoy!
