Well, I think Christy and/or Beep need a new home. I have 11 hens and I’m afraid two roosters is too many. We enjoyed life before we inherited the boys.

Indeed. So far so good. He was inherited from a family with toddlers who named him as well as his brother, Beep.

What breed would you say Christy is? He wants to know because he is having an identity crisis. I can’t imagine why.

So, I'm guessing barnvelder between the two mentioned because it seems like I should be able to remember which breed I ordered and this seems the most familiar. The only this I am left to wonder is how I could be so clueless since at one time this was something I knew! My aging mind...

I have a chicken victim on my hands. One chicken is getting horribly pecked. They have actually pecked her flesh bloody to the point that she has a chunk of missing flesh. I separated her so she could heal then slowly moved her back, but the keep at her. For whatever reason, she wants to be with...
