12 of our 20 BCM girls are laying + 9 more pullets are 16 weeks. The Silvers are all laying, Solo just started back up a week ago.
Exactly my thinking as well with White. Even Splash didn't peak any interest until I got hatched the Splash Silver boy, but I still favor the Silver over Copper. The gold in the Splash Coppers just looks dirty/diluted. The White/Silver blends in more.
Having Poppy recessive white and our past discussions of the possibility of hatching a female eventually to create a White line would be interesting...
That egg was more late season fade. Her true color is more Olive but she lays a variety of shades depending on her mood.

I like my options this year, I wish I would of kept the 3 pullets I sold. Essentially starting over again having to get 2nd Gen eggs.
My Olive Egger is a cross of BCM x EE (mint eggs). That OE (Christy) was then backcrossed and her 3 daughters gave me these, I ended up selling those 3 daughters last fall.
Since then I had Christy penned up with Poppy (recessive white Silver Marans, hiding blue) and hatched this little Blue...

I noticed that also. I don't know the standard so had to look, @2ndTink may know more. I actually like his tail but it seems low for the Standard below. Reminds me of Poppy's and Monstrosity Blue's tail.
