    We can check again for injury tonight or tomorrow, but we haven't felt anything weird in the past. This hen was not vaccinated, that I know of. She is one of the first 8 chicks we received from a local woman who hatched them. 2-3 weeks later we received 22 more from her, that were hatchery...

    Mine are 3 and 5 and have karate 4 times a week! At least it tires them out. And we don't really have to go all 4 days, but we need to go at least 2 to be worth the money we spend on it. :) Forget chicken. What about HAM pot pie? So weird. And Ham BBQ? And chicken and WAFFLES?

    Bear update: Apparently our friendly neighborhood bear has been causing trouble all over the mountain and was caught and relocated at some point this week. Good news for me and my chickens. Hopefully he didn't leave any friends behind.
