Half the flock all of a sudden won't go into coop at night?

We have 10 hens and every time a possum goes into the coop, the chickens go out, even in the middle of the nite.

If you could add two chickens to your backyard flock what would they be?

Are Guinea Hens good for laying eggs. they seem so cute. Would it be ok to add two of them to a older flock, of Rhode Island, Buff, and Americana's?

    egg laying frequency & quantity

It seems like if I pick up the eggs every other day, they lay more eggs. If I collect them every day, there is only 4 eggs from 10 chickens. Every other day I collect a dozen. What causes this? Is it psychological?

    aggressive Americana Rooster

Someone that has free range chickens with a barn and field etc would not be a problem to anyone. I only have backyard chickens that have more limited space. I think he would do great with a open space to roam in.
