I did one more candle last night as the hens were asleep.I could hear a very low chirping sound in the egg.So I am guessing we have internally pipped. Now let's begin the hatching process PLEASE! EAGERLY awaiting this new hatchling and the name my friend will be blessing it with

A good morning from Lily & Oomie AKA OG.
These are 2 of the 3 silks I still have
Blessed for their health..Oomie crowed for the first time this am.This little man has some big shoes to fill.His daddy was the boss.Im so glad I have My Oomie he looks just like his daddy except he has gray feet Zoomie was solid black.Feeling blessed.

So this morning while my broody Orp "Honey"was taking her daily break for water I candled the polish egg she has been sitting on.I got so excited it is moving we have life at this time.Praying this is a success.Candeling images show me we are at least at day 19.Fingers crossed.

My farm friends where I purchase my hens gave me a polish fertile egg.One of my chocolate orps is broody so maybe we will get lucky this actually took place on the 19th of July.

Topped off feeders this am.topped water with fresh cold water.Everyone was great.. I just went back out to find one of my silkie babies dead.Baby Mango.He was my shrink wrap baby 14 weeks old.Im guessing internal issues.Makes me sick!Not a single wound.RIP Bmango
