Like ducks. They don't care. male female dog cat chicken sex is sex to them. I have the 8 quail in a very very large kennel so they have plenty of room to move around. not walking on top of each other but they do kind of stay huddled together I guess new place

The auctioneers have no clue. They just knew they were quail. There is one that looks female but the others are so spooked I don't want to scare them yet. Do you have a clue of why they might be bald on their backs cuz that be over breeding from the male mounting the female?

My pekin babies first time in water

I built my own and they have 3 and a half sides and the opening I made like a grass skirt. It covers the birds and they can easily get in and out. At first they were spooked. I put the chicken in the box and made her stay there till I saw her readying the nest. It was smooth sailing after that.
