    He does look like a Jersey Giant but its hard to tell in the pics. Look at the bottom of his feet and see if they are a yellowish color. I don't know about the blue orps but the Blue Giants have yellowish bottoms of their feet.

    JERSEY GIANTS -Good Choice?

    I love my Jersey Giants! The are very low maint and mellow birds. They lay extra large eggs but are not as good as RIR's for example. They lay an egg every day then take a break for a while then seem to start again. I would say mine are average egg layers.
