Hens go broody when you don’t want them to… and won’t go broody when you do. 
Ohhh I love your cat pics with the chicken! I want a Ragdoll someday (we have 5 cats now- so no more new ones til someone is gone...)Also wanted to say, I come from near you! I'm from Warren Pa, then Jamestown NY and spent many times in Erie! Shopping, Presque Isle,Barcelona Beach (that's near there, right?) loads of fun!
