That makes sense. I also prefer small flocks; makes it easier to bond with them individually. I have three buff orps, one EE and one speckled sussex. What about you?

Yes, who doesn't 'need' more chickens? A lot of my girls have scaly leg mites now, and my rooster. I just sprayed a lot of their legs this morning with cooking spray,. Have a wonderful Monday! BTW, I like your Farbstein quote. *HUGS*
