I'm so sory for yoir loss, Nicky.I had a sign last night.After putting the chickens to bed I walked near the garage and just happened to look down.And what do I see?I pice of slate shaped just like a heart.Were in the world did it come from?I used to make slate arrows with my L.Sis in the summer but I never made a heart!It wasn't there before!I think it's a sign, Nicky.Cause I just lost someone in my famly a few weeks ago and I lost my dear Isadora to a, HAWK.A week before that.

Oh yes they are much better.But not me.Im on alert.Im afraid for them.I saw a HUGE coyote the other day.(call me crazy but)I started hissing and barking and scramming and jumped up and down and waving my arms at him(he/she was in the filed)We beeped the truck horn.He didnt move.And then finally he went.Im so scared, Nicky.Im afraid they are going to get eaten.We have Hawks, Foxes, Coyotes, Racoons, Ermines, it all.I know there coop and pen in secure but still.Theyere my babies and I worry about them so much.I have been having nightmares........One the other night was we locked them up cause we saw ermine and then, like a Flood, Porcinpines, Ermines, Foxes, Hawks, Wolves, Dogs, Coyotes, Raccons, Eagles every single predador down to the rat.Im not sure what I can do to get rid of my fear until spring when we redo the pen.
