Does anyone have advice on how to introduce 4 chicks to 3 hens already in the coop? Will a hen adopt them and look after them?

Hi , I think 2 of my girls may have got into something or it is my feed . 2 of them are standing alone and their crops are squishy . I am having trouble with my fermented feed it starts to smell nasty after a while ( maybe Yeasty ?) .It has been humid recently in NY . No smell from the crop ( on one I didnt smell the other one yet ) on dry mash for now .
