i bought wat i thought was a silkie pullet but got a roo. He is lovely and never chases his hens. iam getting him some of his own hens next spring.

I bought two from the domestic fowl trust as my first chickens. Now I only have their daughters and my other birds which they inspired me to breed or buy. Sadly they were both taken by the fox. Recently bought another hen house hoping for some more and a higher fence!

I hav recently got a frizzle roo identical to the red one in the photo but he has speckled feathers on his front. He's really lively and great with my hens.

Had about 50 exbattery and they went south after only their second lay
