I bought two of these when my chicks outgrew their small waterers. Cracked the lid on one of them after about 3-4 weeks. The other lasted 3 months before the lid cracked and broke off completely. I followed the directions to lube the gasket and not to overtighten the lids. They were still difficult to remove every time. Would not buy again.
