Pros: More natural approach to minding ones flock.

This is one of the go to resource books I have used that was not overwhelming.There are may natural organic remedies and recipes I have incorporated, such as, seasonal herb gardening and cleaning ideas to keep the flock healthy. The Breakfast of Champions has been quite a hit with my girls.

Pros: Great Information, inexpensive, all natural, extremely helpful

I bought this book a few years back after having three of my girls unexpectedly fall ill and pass away. I was trying to find out ways to diagnose, treat, and prevent illness and this book was a god send. I've read the whole thing at least 5 times over I even put tabs on certain pages for easy access. Ever since I began incorporating herbs into my hens diets I haven't had a single one fall ill, absolutely incredible. Not to mention my hens absolutely love their new diet, I also started incorporating the advice from this book with new chicks and it was wonderful! I can't express enough how helpful this book has been to me and my flock I one hundred percent recommend it and believe every chicken owner should read it.

I would recommend this book to every chicken owner, new or old. It gives helpful tips and advice on how to try and raise your chickens naturally. Great book, must read!

I enjoyed this as well and she partnered with Meyer Hatchery for customer appreciation days and can go visit get a book and shop. Love it! Great use of herbs for healthy hens. I compare my feed bag to what the breakfast of champions is. Whatever my feed is missing I add. They love it! :love

I read this book, such a wonderful book! I did not want it to end, it had almost everything I need. I want to get more into herbal remedies and recipes. Every chicken keeper should consider reading this! ~K
