Lyon products are supposed to be excellent incubators, however they come with a 90 day warranty only. My $450. incubator lasted 8 months before the humidity unit on it quit. A 90 day warranty for a $450 incubator is ridiculous. DON'T BUY LYON INCUBATORS
Cons - they are dishonest about their warranty. Rcom doesn't stand behind its products in the U.S.
Don't deal with this brand. When I purchased it, it came with a year warranty, which by registering online was supposed to increase to 2 yrs. It worked great until about 8 months after purchase. When I called where I got it from they told me that in the United States it only had a 6 month warranty, so I am looking at the ad for it stating it comes with a year warranty and still being told no, they won't honor it. So I tried to buy parts to fix it and was told that I could only get certain parts if it was still under warranty. I have contacted every place in the U.S. that I have found that sells these incubators and gotten the same story. In the United States rcom is NOT a reputable company.
Pros - Easy to set up, fully automatic, digital display, takes up limited space
Cons - getting the humidity pump set up takes some effort, fan is a bit noisy for setting in a living space
This little incubator has the features of a full blown sportsman, but at a much small size and price. You set the desired temp and humidity and it does the rest. The fan makes a bit of noise, but well worth the noise for excellent hatch rates. Will hold about 20-24 LF chicken eggs, or a good 30 bantam eggs. The R-COM's seem to be a great bargin for those not needing the capacity of a cabinet incubator. On a side note, the SURO-20 I bought came with a one year manufactures warranty.
