Both recipes look fantastic - thanks for sharing and letting us know about that website!
Where in Romania do you live? I love Romania - both of my girls are Romanian-born, one from Craiova and one from Bucharest :)
You can tell Ruby isn't feeling well, all hunkered down like that. What's going on with her? Is it that abscess thing or something else? Holding good thoughts...
I haven't been on the computer till now but wanted to say how much fun my daughters and I had at the Meet Up! Thanks so much for organizing it, and thanks so much to Dana for opening her home. It was really fun and relaxing and so great to meet so many of you and put faces to names. I'm...
Just read the updates and was shocked. I'm going to cross fingers and toes that it isn't what it looks like.

Hey, Murs - that's great news!!! I can't wait to see what kinds of chickens you decide on. You did such a great job with Pecker - I know you'll have an amazing flock!
Holy cow - I sure picked the wrong few days to go off and get the flu! ReiMiraa, my heart goes out to you. I'm so sorry for your devastating loss - and I really hope you get that job!
I can't even begin to comment on everything else. Oh, except for that photo of poor Fudge - certainly...
I couldn't agree with you more. It really should be synonymous. Whoever wrote the definitions did not live in the country. Living in a rural paradise has its drawbacks...one of which is chronic, constant, persistent dirt!!!
I've been chased - sadly, many times - by numerous non-broody geese. Not sure whether it's my pheromones or the sandwich I happened to be eating at the time. I can't even imagine being in the same zip code as a broody goose - seriously.
