I have a thread dedicated to Buff Brahmas and how they grow if you want to try to compare (I can't get my phone to work properly right now to link it)
But Brahmas are very tricky. I've had some pullets feather slower, while cockerels are even slower, with an exception here and there.
If you are able to do a full body photo, head photo, side photo, that would be greatly appreciated for determining Brahmas. We have 12week old buff Brahmas and we have one too that is just now fully feathered.
They were all going to go to market (haha) at the same time, so was hoping they'd survive long enough to get there . We shall see. Next year won't have different groups, and we'll separate sooner, too many life bumps and weather

We've had 3 deaths this year due...

Ive not been to avons in over a year to check, but could...
I know I'm late to the party, what other breeds do you have? Sorry if mentioned in another post.
We had 4 buff orpingtons --who are supposed to be the sweetest ever-- 3 of the 4 started attacking every chicken. I quickly snatched them up after second day and rehomed them. Instant calm over the...
Hi! There are definitely a ton of advice and posts just for this if you figure out search words to use.
We are in central IN and have Brahmas and keep them cool with fans(closed drum), deep shade, a low sled full of water, as well as at times watering the ground(can't think of better verbage...
