Welp, these boys may not make it to grow out date lol almost accidentally killed one this morning. Hit him *just* right as he was attacking a girl while I was feeding. Never had so many issues out of boys. Girls have been separated, wanted to do it last week but crap happens.

Now to figure out if the big boys(15 weeks tomorrow) will kill the little boys (12 weeks) if I toss them in together bc the 12week old boys have figured out how to mate, the older ones were just attacking. (Insert eye roll and head shake lol)

Next year we are only doing one big hatch lol live and learn.

I had no luck adding new cockerel to a pen. The bullying and gang mating was terrible. I would butcher out the older batch, than put the younger ones in. Otherwise you can butcher out the worse bullies, and hope the others behave.

They were all going to go to market (haha) at the same time, so was hoping they'd survive long enough to get there . We shall see. Next year won't have different groups, and we'll separate sooner, too many life bumps and weather
