The cell walls of a lot of vegetable fibers get broken when the water is frozen inside. Think about how plants look after a hard frost. I'm going to freeze dry my celery!!! It's almost ready to harvest. Going to cut it all up and vacuum seal it in mason jars. Sure I'm not making bloody marys with it, but soup, salad topper, stuffing, etc. 😁 -

Similar here, even my cherry tomato varieties are just starting to take off. I'm enjoying the break though. Having to process tomatoes, peppers, squash, cucumbers, beans and berries all at once takes too much time and space. -

Two fences. Tall one on the inner fence, second fence... I think it's supposed to be like 6 feet away.... Maybe that one is supposed to be tall as well... 🤔 MIgardener did a YouTube video on a deer fence to help protect their orchard. It was a good design. And not super costly. -

I can attest to this. It may not be a native plant but it's too good to not grow. I haven't mowed my orchard in over a month. White clover gets about 8" at the tallest. Photos below. The chickens saw me, came running 🤣 -
