Difrent Typs Of Perches " Walk In Coops Only Pleas"

My roost is just a thick (4cm I think) thick pole running North to south in the centre on my coop. They seem to get the hang of jumping/flying up to they're 4ft high roost in just 1 night! I am impressed.

How hot/cold can the coop get?

Great, thanks! I opened the coop door and replaced it with a mesh, so it went down from 30°C to 27°C, seems fine though, and they are more interested/frightened of the lawnmower :-) .c Poor chickens.

    entrance to nesting box

Grr, if only I could remember mine off by heart. I think mine is 30cm high (with a little lip of 5-10 cm on) by 30cm across, so yours should be perfect. Chickens love to feel cosy and have they're own space whilst laying, so make sure to put some straw etc. In for them.
