entrance to nesting box

greetings fellow backyard chickeners. my question today is about the size entrance to the nesting box. my entrance is 24 cm high 30 cm wide. is this to big or small.

any help would be appreciated

Grr, if only I could remember mine off by heart. I think mine is 30cm high (with a little lip of 5-10 cm on) by 30cm across, so yours should be perfect. Chickens love to feel cosy and have they're own space whilst laying, so make sure to put some straw etc. In for them.
