    What breed is he?

I hadn't even thought about it being a Black Copper Marans. This one doesn't have feathered legs, but I think I have heard that hatchery quality Marans don't have feathered legs. Is that correct? And do they have white earlobes?

    What breed is he?

Could someone tell me what breed this guy is? He has some brown coming in and has white earlobes. He's only 5 weeks old and is BIG for his age. He came as a "specialty breed". Super friendly guy too! And here he is at a few days old.

    Corid Dosing for Serama chicks?

I have Corid 20% powder. How much should I give for 7 week old Serama chicks for minor to medium outbreak. I just noticed some blood, but otherwise they seem fine. They are drinking and eating normally and are not sitting puffed up. Thank you

    What is this? Ingrown feather?

Is this an ingrown feather? The black curly thing. It's hard and feels like a bread tie, but it won't bend. She is 2 weeks old, and it has been growing since she hatched. How do I proceed in treating it?

    Is this an ingrown feather?

This is a 2 week old Lavender Ameraucana chick. This black curly thing on her wing, has been growing ever since she hatched. I thought maybe her fluff was just a little matted from being sticky at hatch, so I left it alone, until today. Upon closer inspection, it appears to be hard, feels like a...

Easter Egger Sexing "tips and tricks" *Pictures Included*

Thanks. I'm thinking she is too. She hatched at the same time as my other one and he is no doubt a rooster. His comb starting growing and turned bright red at about 1-2 weeks old. They both have the same size legs and feet, stature is about the same. But she hasn't had any comb development.

    Ameraucana baby feathering.

This is my first and only Ameraucana out of 8 that hatched, and I've noticed the feathering growth is rather different than my other various breeds of the same age. All the feathers are slowly coming in and are different lengths and are coming in at different rates. This one is 7 days old. I was...
