I got pair of Plymouth Rock Barred... The male got lazy...
It happens all after the rainfall ... After the rain he got lazy and when I hold him in my hand, his body was very hot... Im assuing that he is having fever???
He is not eating and pooping white form kind of stuff :s

It's 107 degrees Fahrenheit in my country in day and I'm using hay straws for their bedding ... Is it OK for them or it's hot for them?

OMG ... my one chick just does that when you bought them ... Nut i never feed him worms ... But he did it only once ... and never done it till now.... should i be worried ?

I just wanted to know about my chicks gender ... They are 7 .... 2 Cochins, 3 Orpingtons, 2 Dominiques or Barred Plymouth Rocks (I can't figure out the breed) ... How can I recognize their genders?
They are 3 - 4 weeks older....

Just wanted to share this info with all you guys... A month ago I bought chicks
There were two lazy chicks in it ... They eat, walk but then stay still for a very long time ... Like they just going to sleep....
But after couple of days one of them quit eating and died of weakness...

Do you have anyone in your area who is also raising chickens? You might find what they are feeding theirs and what is more locally available. If you are feeding them earthworms (or any kind of food that require "teeth"), they will need a little grit (tiny sharp stones or sand)...
