    I dusted them with GardStar garden and poultry dust. Wow, never would have considered the roosters might be causing the damage. Our roosters are only bantams, we don't have full sized ones and they most of the time have a hard time mounting the girls, the girls don't seem to be interested.

    What did your chickens do today?

    Hi! Our chickens enjoyed their first rainstorm today :) Thank God for the downpour today in NM with the 2 wildfires in the state, we really needed it. The chickens had a great time pecking at the damp ground and finding tons of bugs and worms. We'll see what tomorrow has in store.

    Brahma Thread

    Hi there! Here is a pic of my 3 month old Dark Brahma Bantam rooster "Little Foot." He has such a great personality, jumps up to get treats and is pretty tolerable of being held. My kids named him and he is definately many family members favorite in our flock :)

    3 month old Bantam Rooster shaking butt on ground

    Thank u for posting the video. What he is doing is more squatting and moving his butt from side to side, no scratching with his legs and there are no hens around when he does this. I will keep an eye on him and see if the behavior changes. Thanks again
