Hello! I am ISO black or blue mottled and mille fleur or calico d'uncles to add some color to my small personal flock. Would be interested in hatching eggs or chicks either shipped or picked up in NE Ohio. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
Sounds like it may help. I'm actually going to start on a cooler/hatcher this weekend also I think. That should eliminate alot of humidity issues and the cabinet should be fine. I can't say thank you enough for the info the members on this site are so eager to share!
I built a cabinet incubator (thanks for the info specially sally). Test runs are great but having no luck with humidity. Any tips? tried various pan arrangements with wicks. I'very started a cooler hatcher project as well and hope to be full go by the end of January but no luck getting any...
one thing I would add is get a couple thermometers and a hygrometer that can be calibrated and use those for your base temp and humidity for a reference. very easy to calibrate and many helpful informative articles online. really helps taking that variable out of the process
I built a homemade incubator. temperature stability is great in my test runs but having a horrible time with no humidity. any suggestions? I'm actually considering a humidifier on a hydrostatic but hoping to keep it a little simpler
