    Thanks. :) So general pictures are to be posted in the forums. And the member articles are used to - what? I'm afraid I'm struggling to understand. But I'll keep from posting articles for a while and I guess in time I will get it. Sometimes all it takes is little time.

    One week old today

    One week today. They are getting hard to get group photos of so here an assorted number of chickens. The big black one is the cutie from the other post. Well, Biggie is... bigger... Biggie and one of the Silverudd's Blue chicks.

    This gorgeous little fellow was hatched last week and the photo is taken when moving from the hatcher to their nest. It's the first chick from my own chickens. He/she is a black copper maran and is growing like they always are.

    They have, but something went wrong and only seven chicks of the 25 eggs managed to hatch. For some reason they were developed but didn't hatch. I followed the instructions for the hatcher. I suspect it was not humid enough. I will buy another hatcher that are fully automatic before I hatch...
