Someone please tell me what is happening to my chicks. What is this? I've had chickens and ducks for quite some time and never seen this. We went through dry pox a few years ago but nothing like this. I have a couple hens who tend to go and stay broody even after hatch. They just refuse to leave...
In this photo, I know I have black, and tan and white runners.... But, I cant exactly say what the other three are. The white marble looking one, and the two that look like rouen or mallard maybe????? I have waited some time to post this thread because I wanted them mature enough to have their...
I looked up the breeds available on TS.com last night and of all the breeds I found they look most like Blue Copper Marans? But, I've notice on most of the pics I've seen that some, not all have lightly feathered legs. Mine do not... ***This is not my photo***

I actually have this. I've never used it for the ducks tho. Any idea on the dosage.? I'm still waiting on the vet to call me back. Its Saturday and apparently ducks aren't on his list of emergencies. I've called a few other vets but it being Saturday is not working in my favor :hmm
She feels her feel and legs. I can very lightly touch her foot and she'll jerk her leg. She is moving her feet and legs. She will swim, she just won't put her feet under her and walk.
As for feed, they eat layer crumbles, cracked corn, sweet feed, scratch grains and whatever veggies I take out that day. The layer crumbles has oyster shells in it but I can tell that they'd rather eat everything else more.
