Thanks so much for all your inputs - really appreciate it! One last, maybe dumb question, I know the eggs I received came from Wyandottes of mixed colors Could it be that the pullet all agree on is from a different color/pattern variant than the others? Or are they definitely cockerels even...
bugger :-) anyway just posting a few more pictures with numbers - hope that helps. For my understanding could you explain what makes you believe it is a she or a he :-) And at what age would there be no doubt - even for me :-) (they are 11 weeks now). Thanks for all your inputs so far!
Hi all - I have 10 dwarf Wyandotte chickens, almost 12 weeks old - problem is: I am little concerned if I have 10 roosters...:)
They are all alike - so it is 10 of a kind. Can you help me determine please! I have a attached different pictures and especially some of their tail feathers. I would...
Just received 51 wyandotte-eggs by mail – only 2 broken – very good result so far. So 49 eggs in the incubator – will be exciting! Last time I tried a new approach which seemed to work well; letting the incubator run dry for the first couple of days and then adding a bit of water later while...
Hi - it is a bit tricky as you will need a streaming server. There are some different options available on the Internet. On the hardware I use a Vivotek IP cam.
cheers
Based in Denmark - it was an optional extra purchase (in USD something like 15 or 20 if I remember correctly). Quite nice as it is really easy to adjust the heat. For the first couple of weeks I don't use it as raising the plate will do the same basically but then you can start reducing heat...

There are 8 chicks that have all hatched within 12-36 hours. Look how they push their backs up against...
Oh no - I dropped one of my eggs when I removed the cradle on day 18...
It looks like the membrane didn't break - but will the little chick survive or did I kill it?? Take a look:

Here we go again! 14 eggs ready for hatching - you can follow on my live videostream if interested. Use backyard as both user and password to login. Have fun. Will update this post when they start pipping.

Hi all - I have eggs hatching (hopefully...) again in a day or two. If interested you can follow it live on my videostream from the incubator. Once they have hatched the camera will follow them to the brooder. It is quite funny to follow them up close during the first days. You need to go to my...
16 eggs - but it is a rather poor outcome, 5 chicks till now and 1 more on its way out. Just moved the camera to the brooder - try logging in on chicktalks.com and take a look - they are soooo sweet :-)
Hi all - just to let you know that I have a new hatching project running and there is two days left so I have just set up the webcam again. For you guys on this forum it doesn't cost anything (normally I charge 3€ to cover streaming service cost). You just have to sign up as basic member (it's...
