    Wyandottes. Maybe.

I have two 5 week old chickens from the TSC Silver Laced Wyandotte pullet bin. One has a single comb- does this mean it’s not a Wyandotte? Also, and guesses on sex?

Two very different speckled Sussex chicks, male AND female?

Here’s the smaller one today. I was really hoping this was a pullet.

3 week old chick with strangely shaped belly

One of my 3 week old chicks has a soft, almost swollen feeling belly. My daughter noticed that the rest of the chicks have a bone “ridge” down the front of their breast, but you can’t feel it in this chick. She also has a slightly bald spot. Thoughts?

    Speckled Sussex, pullet or cockerel?

Hmm, yes, her legs and feet are definately yellowish. We have an adult Sussex with pinky legs...I didn't really notice before. Man! We have a weird batch!

    BO pullet or cockerel?

From a hatchery through a local feed store. I'll be kind of ticked if it's not in fact a BO, because we had to "reserve" her ahead of time and everything. Ugh!
