    I was thinking Chicken and Dumplings... I need boiling directions for him. All I found so far is oven directions. I heard that an 11 month old cooks different than the store ones. Hubby decided to cut the breast meat off and the thigh and leg section. He freaked out about not having gloves...

    I went out today and saw that My golden roo was having a death match with one of my New Hampshire red roos called Gimpy. Gimpy was always more aggressive. He'd go after people as they walked through the yard. I had to usher Gimpy out of the coop somy golden one could settle down. I don't know...

    so far thats been the only strange one we have seen. By the way that is a duck egg... Not sure if it was from the Peking or Mallard...

    my muscovy is a baby still, possibly male. My Pekin and Mallards eggs are about the same color and shape if that tells you anything.

    What breed is this?

    My guess is probably someone in my neighborhood. They never take proper methods to ensure their chickens saftey, so it wouldn't surprise me if it came from there. I'm not goingto even bother trying to go ask them concidering they shot my dog and came out the house with a gun towards my stepson...

    thanks, we clip our ducks wings also. This little fellow still peeps and I'm not sure what it's age is. My hubby saw it in the yard while it was snowing a few days ago.

    We found this wondering around in our yard, so we put it in with our ducks... I hope someone can tell me what breed, or type of bird this is...
