    I have been dying to post some photos of my ladies, my facebook friends just don't appreciate the whole love of chickens. It seems so hard to get a photo without the other breeds in it, they huddle together constantly!

    I have cancer

    I feel for you, my husband has been fighting colon cancer for over four years now, since the same month our first son was born. It has progressed from stage 3 to stage 4 but we keep the faith, if you ever need someone to chat with about treatments just let me know, we have seen so many!

    I know how you feel. Mine are now out in their run and I peek out the window like a stalker. I also shake my head at chicken math. Sent my husband to the feed store for food, he comes home with more chicks. It doesn't stop!

    My husband finally agreed to let me get some chickens, after he picked out our chickens he decided it would be manly to build a coop himself. We made a family project of painting it with the colors the kids picked, now we have a super awesome coop and run that only needs a few more finishing...

    We decided to try to call and get the manager of the farm store since the floor-level employees couldn't tell us anything, the manager had a book of what breeds they had on what dates and based on my chicks features and color they are indeed Salmon Faverolles thanks! you guys are spot on!
