This one Cornish cross isn't growing like everyone it's feathers aren't in like everyone else's but it's happy and eating a drinking. I will post a pic of its butt and then of another chick you can see how grown out the others feathers are! Any help?!?! Please!!!
I currently have two broody hens laying on two different nests..... The issue I have is of course it's the two nests that everybody else uses so they wil go in and lay an egg and now I think they are laying on eggs freshly laid as well.... So should I move the hens or block them off from the others?
Unfortunately the little splayed leg one passed away I'm now on day 23 and about 9 eggs are unhatched. Is it safe to say they are goners? Or should I leave them I for longer? Do you just toss them or do I figure out why? I'm not sure what to do.
He is doing the splits I think it's splay legged I tried the rubber band with the straw and the chick just fell forward on its face. I am now trying the glass! I'm worried it's a lost cause!
my concerns are what is the chance this chick is still alive and two I have chicks already hatched in there and I don't want them getting sick from what ever that is! what do I do wait it out? or get the hatched ones out and into brooder box? I have a couple more that are pipping right now as...
I have a variety lol i have some EE in there and rhode islands austrolorps and a few ameracaunas I believe they will all be mixed though cause I do not have a pure bred roo.
I am now on lock down and cant stop staring at this motionless eggs lol worrying about humidity and temperature lol I just cant wait! its driving me crazy lol I candled today and all 16 are doing good!!! thanks everyone for your advice!!
I have 16 eggs in and all have been doing good just a few concerns....I have one that is forming just fine all along but its aircell is on the side of the shell.... and some of the aircells are not as big as I would want them to be..... not sure what I can do for them at day 18. just waiting and...
Should I be concerned? I work till four and am freaking out! Should I be there? Or will they be ok in the incubator till I get home if they hatch while I'm gone?
Lol no but if in fact she is a he I wouldn't be too upset our old rooster got eaten by something I will have to keep a close eye on it thanks for all your help
