Home owner's association :( But it's a win win.She's got a farm and her hens are getting old. We're going to share the eggs. We trade home made goods all the time and now she'll board the new hens and I'll supply the food and some labor at the farm.
Ended up purchasing 5 Barred Rock chicks today. My coworker agreed to board them. I supplied a 25lb of feed and we trade home made wine and beer and home raised beef.

Even though I'm moving to another home in an HOA I can still get some chicks! I have a friend that owns a farm and her hens are getting old. So I worked out a deal. I'll buy 3 barred rock hens (what I want) and a big bag of feed and they can stay at her farm and we'll share the eggs.
