Well i will try to see if there is someone tomorrow since christmas day everyones super busy. i wouldnt say he is going to die tonight he still walks around didnt lose a ton of blood i dont think, i have only contacted a falcon person recently may be able to find someone for quail too.
so i found a california quail on the side of the road must have been hit by a car with a broken wing, it is literally just drooping down got ripped open at the shoulder a bit and the broken bone is sticking out not sure what to do for him since im afraid a bone sticking out like that would get...
i am looking for some bantam cochin chicks, specifically red, and buff. I am willing to work out a deal with someone and if they are in idaho may be able to pick them up myself.
Well i am definitely looking for some good cochin bantams, in particular reds and buffs. im going to be having a few that by that time will be about 2-3 months old. Although i may bring my belgian d'anver for the show would need to separate her now though.
Hmm well i always thought he was a bit smarter then some chickens didn't think he would do that though lol. I guess he really does pay attention to those ceramic eggs I've been leaving as cues haha. I give her a couple more weeks at least according to her behavior and width between the bones on...
judging on the fact that the one only goes in to get eggs and when i check it throughout the day it seems to be getting disturbed a lot, im guessing hes in there quite a bit lol

So i have a young rooster about 4 month old cochin bantam and hes been going in the nesting boxes for a while i just thought because he liked it in there. Apparently though he goes in there and makes a strange sound and i caught him moving a fake ceramic egg underneath him and laying on it, dont...
just found my first egg from my belgian d'anver pretty dang good for a first egg not sure it has a yolk though lol.
that picture is just after washing it i might get some new bedding coffee chaff seems to stick on pretty good despite the color in the photo its a cream color.

i can say this works pretty good for me i put the feathers in a couple of pillow cases and wash them in the washer then dry them in the dryer seems to work pretty well for me but there may be other better ways.
